Dirt Bike Buddy is built by a small crew of Michigan riders. Email us and a human who actually rides answers: hello@dirtbikebuddy.app.

How do I get the app?

We're in TestFlight beta ahead of the App Store launch. Email us and we'll send you an invite.

My ride watcher didn't get a link

Watcher emails send when a solo ride with watchers starts. Check spam for mail from noreply@dirtbikebuddy.app, and make sure your ride watchers are set under Profile → Ride Watch.

Does the app call 911 for me?

No — and that's deliberate. The rider-down and SOS features alert your group or your watchers with your location, and give you a one-tap link to dial 911 yourself. Calling emergency services is always your decision.

What happens to my GPS data?

Safety pings are hard-deleted within five minutes of your ride ending. Recorded tracks are a separate, opt-in feature: private by default and deletable any time. The full detail is in our privacy policy.

Trail data looks wrong

Trail geometry comes from the Michigan DNR's official open data and re-syncs weekly. If a trail is closed or rerouted on the ground before the DNR updates their data, post it to the community feed so other riders see it — and email us so we can flag it.

Delete my account

In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete my account. That removes your account and data permanently. If you can't get into the app, email us from your account address and we'll handle it.
